The semi-private River Club
has proven to be one of the most challenging courses
in the Myrtle Beach area. This "signature course"
by renowned architect, Tom Jackson, is a favorite
among returning golfers. One of the premiere "plantation"
courses, River Club features wide open fairways and
large, undulating bentgrass greens. Long hitters have
some room off the tee, but as the name implies, water
is present on almost every hole, and 100 bunkers await
the stray shot. River Club's dramatic 18th hole, pictured
here, offers one of the most beautiful and exciting
finishes anywhere! Call your hotel golf director early
for preferred tee times so you won't miss this "signature
course".
