Bay Tree Green
Site of the PGA Tour's qualifying school, the "Green
Monster," as it is respectfully called, took its toll
in 1975. Danny Edwards earned his card with a four-round
total of 13-over par! The architectural duo of George
Fazio and Russell Breeden collaborated to create a
spectacular course with all of the elements that make
up a true champion. The par 4, 13th hole, pictured
here, was among the "Top 18" holes in Myrtle Beach
in the 1997 Sun News "Dream 18" contest.
