Please contact us for more information about any of Capt Dick's activities, or to make reservations. We do not require reservations, but we always recommend and encourage reservations.
A reservation assures you there will be space reserved for you when you want it, and provides us with contact information should we need to contact you about your reservation.
Experience the extraordinary view of the grand strand from the ocean, it's piers, hotels, beach homes, and pavilions, from the decks of our modern cruise vessels. Departing from Murrells Inlet, "The Seafood Capital of South Carolina." Wave to all the Strand's visitors as you pass them by on your way to a glorious sunset at sea! Approximately 2 Hours.
Sea Bass Fishing Adventure*
4.5 Hours (1/2 Day)
Approximately 3 to 15 miles out, 40-60 feet deep * Fish for sea bass- 1/2 to 3 pounds in size * about a 1 hour ride out * Rates include rod, manual reel, bait (squid or clam), tackle, and fishing license coverage
Continental Shelf Fishing * 8 Hours
Fish in the area approximately 25-35 miles offshore. About 2 Hour ride out. Fish for crimson snapper, also called vermilions, triggerfish, bigger sea bass. Electric reels available for rent $9/reel * Rates include rod, manual reel, bait (squid), tackle, and fishing license coverage
All Day "Gulf Stream" * 11 Hours
Approximately 45 to 60 miles out. 120-200 feet water depth * Fish for vermillion and red snapper, grouper, triggerfish, grunts, and amberjack, among others * Fish average 2 to 5 pounds, with snapper up to 15 pounds and grouper up to 40 pounds * Approximately 3 hour ride out - approximately 5 hours on fishing grounds * Electric reels available for rent $12/reel * Rates include manual reel & rod, bait (squid), tackle, and fishing license coverage
The dolphin watch goes aboard the "OSPREY" a high-speed rigid aluminum inflatable vessel well suited for dolphin watching. Tour emphasizes the ecology, wildlife, and beauty of the coast. The cruise host will talk to you about dolphins in the wild and explain the search methods while looking for other things such as Osprey, Egrets, Herons, and Eagles.
Remember, this is a fun and adventure trip on the ocean for all ages, so sunscreen and sunglasses are a good idea. You could get wet from the wave spray so dress comfortably.

for 45 minute ride for single rider

Other Jet Ski Information..
- Person signing rental contract must be minimum of 18 years and have picture ID.
- Minimum age to drive is 16, OR have an adult 18 or over on same ski
- No minimum age to ride, as such, BUT rider must be large enough to be secure in a PFD (life jacket), about
40 pounds. (PFD is furnished at no additional charge)
- Orientation and safety instruction provided before ride.
- Reservations advised, but NOT required.
- Open 7 days, in season. (Season typically April - September)
